Job Summary:
We are hiring a Medical Technologist to perform laboratory testing services at the White River Junction VA Medical Center. The role involves quality control, diagnostics, and compliance with CAP, The Joint Commission, and VA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and other body fluids
- Perform quality control and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Analyze and interpret test results with accuracy
- Maintain patient records and lab reports
- Ensure compliance with VA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- Must be nationally certified as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLS, or CLS)
