RieLes Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Physician for a role supporting NIH Clinical Center Bethesda, MD. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the nation's federally funded biomedical research institution. It is comprised of twenty-seven Institutes, Centers, and Divisions. The NIH Clinical Center (NIH/CC) supports the intramural clinical programs of the Institutes and is located on the NIH campus in Bethesda Maryland. A fully functioning clinical facility houses 242 inpatient beds, 12 outpatient clinics, and 3 day hospitals. The Clinical Center supports patient care with a clinical Radiology Department (RAD&IS) to address a broad variety of radiologic medical issues that may arise during a course of treatment. This support is offered continuously 365 days a year.

Position Summary:
The NIH Clinical Center is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting nuclear medicine studies, providing consultative services, and participating in clinical research.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret a wide range of nuclear medicine studies, including PET/CT, SPECT, bone scans, and other modalities
- Oversee the administration of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals
- Provide expert consultations to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and patient care
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications:
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Nuclear Medicine or by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM)
- Minimum two years of post-residency experience in nuclear medicine
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and techniques
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
