Job Title: Health and Wellness Center Administrator
Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida
Department: 1st Special Operations Wing (1 SOW) Resilience Center & 1st Special Operations Operational Medical Readiness Squadron (1 SOMRS) Health and Wellness Center (HAWC)
Schedule: Mondays through Fridays 0700-1600 hours
Administrative personnel needed to support Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) Services to the 1st Special Operations Wing Resilience Center Program and 1st Special Operations Center Operational Medical Readiness Squadron.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) Services
- Assist in the preparation of management plans and reports Coordinate schedules to facilitate contract deliverables, Technical Order (TO) review, briefings, and presentations and perform analysis, development, and review of program or functional areas as required
- Utilize the MHS Genesis Military Health System, Composite Health Care System, Preventive Health Assessment, and Individual Medical Readiness
- Update education and intervention dates, and delete and modify Unit Fitness Program Managers in the Air Force Fitness-related systems to include the Air Force Fitness Management System
- Manage the usage of HAWC services to include scheduling classes, classrooms, meetings, and appointments
- Gather and maintain all data associated with HAWC and Commando Ready program and prepare reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends and associated analysis
- Maintain Air Force Comprehensive Airman Fitness and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Preservation of the Force and Family programs
Qualifications:
- Read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
- Teaching and public speaking skills to provide guidance, counseling, training, and professional evaluation
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with tact and courtesy
- Knowledge of the use of personal computers and computer programs including Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Microsoft to produce a wide range of documents, web pages, portal development, graphics, and tables within the text, to edit and reformat electronic drafts, and to update and revise existing databases or spreadsheets
- Knowledge of Composite Health Care System (CHCS) MHS Genesis Military Health System and Preventive Health Assessment and Individual Medical Readiness
- Expert knowledge of technical writing, proofreading, technical editing of word processing and other computer-based documents, integration of various sources into a cohesive product which may be delivered as computer-based magnetic media, preparation of graphical and narrative presentation material
- Skills in general management, and organizational principles, to analyze, evaluate, advise, and coordinate

The Resilience Center Administrator position at Hurlburt Field, Florida, requires a candidate with expertise in Special Operations culture, military family dynamics, and behavioral and social sciences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing installation resilience programs and coordinating family/community support initiatives
- Serving as a consultant to a multidisciplinary team involved in programs like Comprehensive Airman Fitness (CAF), Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF), and Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC)
- Managing resources and finances, including planning and defending funding for Air Force and SOCOM initiatives
- Leading committees, mentoring subordinates, and ensuring program goals are met
- Conducting research and analysis to improve program effectiveness and providing briefings and reports for decision-making
- Effective communication skills to negotiate complex issues and build strong working relationships
- Typically focuses on mental health, resilience training, stress management, and personal development for military personnel and their families. It may provide counseling, workshops, and support programs to enhance overall well-being
Requirements:
