Customer Service Specialist
At Rierden Chemical, our focus is customer service. To ensure we continue to keep our customers happy, maintaining a very “customer-centric” focus is key to our success.
To support our continued growth at RCT, we are looking for motivated team members to join our growing Customer Service Team. With a diverse portfolio of customers across an array of markets, communication skills are vital for this position.
RCT Customer Service is involved in all aspects of our transactions. Essential Functions include :
- Close Interaction with key RCT Partners & Team Members : Sales, Customers, Suppliers, Warehouses, Carriers
- Daily Management of Customer Purchase Orders
- Order responsibility to include bulk transactions as well as packaged warehouse transactions
- Daily Management of Supplier Purchase Orders
- Daily use of Chempax operating system
- Order responsibility to include bulk transactions as well as packaged warehouse transactions
- Customer Record Management – Pricing, Specifications, Requirements
- Cross Functional - Logistics & Supply Chain Support; Inventory Management Support
- Marketing Coordinator Support : Provide support in customer database management, trade show & event circuit and development of overall RCT marketing efforts
- Background in business to business and industrial customer service is desired. Logistic experience whether with trucking, rail or import is a plus. Basic accounting skills are also desired.
- Basic computer and common software skills with the ability to learn new software are important and fundamental. Expanded IT skills along with social media experience also a plus.
