Description
As a Regional Sales Manager at R&S you will be the heartbeat for developing, training and supporting the sales team within a specific region to provide value, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Promotes and follows the R&S culture throughout the sales team and neighboring departments
- Responsible for the sales teams execution of customer satisfaction through entire sales process
- Coaches the sales team of the specific region to showcase value, customer service and quality products
- Responsible for Key Account selling and managing within region
- Mentors and onboards new Large Ag sales employees
- Focuses on maintaining a consistent sales process execution within the specific region
- Partners with Retail Development Manager for employee development and training
- Manages and builds relationships with local community partners
- Collaborates with Operation Sales Manager to understand the current sales processes and structure
- Understands and implements the current OEM and Dealer sales model
- Collaborates with Marketing Department to promote business activities within AOR
- Ensures sales metrics and goals are met for a specific region
- Manages sales department equipment including vehicles and sales office equipment
- Facilitates the relationship between parts, service and sale departments within region
- Attends personal development and product training
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
- 3 years sales experience, 1 years sales management experience
- Participates in 16 hours of agricultural related community events annually
- Thrives in a fast-paced selling environment
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Showcases adaptability and critical thinking skills
- Frequent travel to throughout assigned region
- Demonstrates understanding of both farming equipment and agronomic practices
- Must be able to use computer and navigate a wide range of online platforms
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Valid drivers license with insurable driver history
