Riffs Pub & Patio, opening soon, will be Eastern Nebraska’s hotspot for great food, handcrafted cocktails, with a musical theme and live music. Located in a charming historic building in downtown Wahoo, we will bring a lively, music-infused atmosphere where guests can enjoy delicious American cuisine, cold brews, and a rockin’ good time.

We are looking to build a dedicated, energetic, and fun-loving team to help us create an unforgettable experience for our guests. If you’re passionate about great service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and love a good tune, we’d love to have you on board!

Open Positions:

We’re hiring a total of 5 employees to fill these roles:

Server (Part-Time & Full-Time Available)

As a Server, you’ll be the face of Riffs Pub & Patio! Your role is to provide exceptional service, guide guests through our food and drink menu, and create a welcoming experience.

Responsibilities:

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner
• Provide recommendations and answer menu-related questions
• Handle transactions and operate the POS system
• Keep tables clean and organized
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and team members

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 16 years old (19 years old to serve alcohol)
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

Busser (Part-Time & Full-Time Available)

As a Busser, you’re the backbone of smooth service! You’ll help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for the next wave of guests.

Responsibilities:

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
• Assist servers and bartenders with table maintenance
• Keep the dining area, bar, and patio clean and presentable
• Help with dishwashing duties when needed
• Assist with food and drink running during busy shifts

Requirements:

• Hardworking and quick on your feet
• Great teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Must be at least 16 years old

Bar Back (Part-Time & Full-Time Available)

As a Bar Back, you’ll be the bartender’s right-hand person, ensuring the bar stays stocked, clean, and ready for service.

Responsibilities:

• Restock beer, liquor, mixers, and garnishes
• Keep the bar area clean and organized
• Assist bartenders with ice, glassware, and other supplies
• Change kegs and refill soda guns as needed
• Support in washing glassware and bar tools

Requirements:

• Fast-paced and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (kegs, cases of beer, etc.)
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Must be at least 19 years old

Pay: $13.50 - $15.43 per hour

Expected hours: 13.50 – 20.00 per week
