This position is integral to ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of the facilities while supporting seasonal demands and operational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive leadership style and at least 10 years of facilities management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including the maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper waste management, recycling, and environmentally sustainable practices.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and other regulatory compliance standards.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and training to uphold a secure workplace.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Vendor Management
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors for repairs, supplies, and services.
- Ensure timely delivery of services within budgetary constraints.
- Cost Efficiency & Budgeting
- Develop, manage, and monitor the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Track and report on energy usage, utility expenses, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and train facilities staff (if needed), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate work schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak operational periods.
- Operational Support
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless production and distribution workflows.
- Manage projects such as facility upgrades, layout modifications, and seasonal preparations.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with facility management software and tools.
- Certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor conditions and climate-controlled warehouses.
- Availability for on-call emergencies as needed.
