Duties
- Manage daily operations of the bar and kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise staff, including bartenders and kitchen personnel, providing training in food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing budgets effectively to minimize waste.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring processes for new staff members.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to develop operational strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and improve service delivery.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with brand standards.
- Implement training programs for staff on food safety practices and customer service excellence.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operational management within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
