Description
The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the profitable and effective management of branch operations, including parts, service, sales, and rental. This role works closely with several departments to ensure smooth operating procedures, exceed customer expectations, and drive continuous improvement.
The Branch Operations Manager also collaborates with the sales team, Branch Manager, and corporate leaders to implement operational best practices and promote customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Assist the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Monitor and implement cost-saving initiatives and value-add strategies to meet branch goals and exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in resolving customer issues to ensure prompt, effective solutions that improve customer experience.
- Implement and maintain 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) principles at the branch to ensure organized, efficient workspaces.
- Document, develop, train, and implement branch-level best practices through Monday.com.
- Collaborate with safety teams through Teams meetings to ensure compliance and maintain documentation in Monday.
- Track mentor programs, inspections, and action items to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct monthly branch reviews for each store and prepare reports for the Regional Managers and stores.
- Document meeting notes and create actionable items for follow-up.
- Collaborate with Branch Managers and Regional Managers on parts scorecard tracking and action items for improvement.
- Organize and support customer events at each branch location to enhance engagement and promote company values.
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience in branch operations or similar roles in a heavy equipment or service-based industry.
- Proficient in project management tools, including Monday or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of 5S, safety management, and operational performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle escalated customer issues.
