J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, mobile equipment, physical structures, and utilities within the offices, and production plants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Perform visual inspections on production machinery and equipment.
- Perform various tasks, such as oil level checks, bio-cool level checks, "top off" of levels, etc.
- Distribute hand tools to production workers.
- Perform ground-keeping duties.
- Perform material handling duties.
- Perform general physical plant maintenance duties, including trash and scrap removal, operating floor cleaning machines, etc.
- Understand basic workplace mathematics, mechanical print reading, gaging and measurement, and rigging.
- Understand lockout / tagout, electrical safety, and electrical power generation
- Understand basic machine technology, engine lathe, and computer numerical control.
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting tasks on various equipment.
