J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is seeking an order processing specialist responsible for generating a Bill of Materials and Routers per work order from the sales quote for engineering, purchasing, and production. Review Work Orders for accuracy. Communicate with the sales department to ensure clear and concise verbiage regarding shop direction and material requirements for orders. Generate purchasing requisitions based on the Work Order Bill of Materials. Generate a shop copy of the work order to be distributed to the appropriate shop department. Gather all work order-specific drawings done by Engineering and distribute them with the Work Order to the shop. Experience in commercial automotive or industrial manufacturing is highly desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Bill of Materials
Generate work order BOMs from approved sales quote
Create purchase requisitions from completed work order BOM
Folders are provided for each shop department
Loads unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree with work experience in a field with a similar job description. Previous experience with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, logistics, or data entry is desired.
