Job Description:
As a Truck Loader Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading materials onto trucks for delivery. You will operate heavy machinery and ensure accurate and timely loading according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, loaders, or other heavy equipment to load materials onto trucks.
- Inspect trucks and trailers for cleanliness and readiness before loading.
- Ensure accurate loading and securement of materials to prevent damage during transport.
- Follow loading instructions and maintain proper weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other team members.
- Assist in inventory management and material handling as needed.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Truck Loader Operator or similar role.
- Valid driver's license (CDL may be required depending on the materials and vehicles).
- Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment operation preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of loading procedures and weight distribution.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
