Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
Service
- Be able to adapt to a dynamic bar environment that ranges from fine-dining food service, to high volume cocktails, to casual brunch and everything in between.
- Lead the team from the front with a guest-first attitude that focuses on guest experience and interaction.
- Foster a bar environment that is warm, welcoming, and inviting to all bar guests, hotel and local alike.
- Oversee and guide bar staff in maintaining standards of quality in all aspects of service.
- Ensure drinks service is prompt and up to the quality standards of the Café.
- Train and develop new staff members.
