Immediate need for Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift to work in local community settings with whom Right at Home has a partnership. Ideal candidate must have a desire to assist patients in the community setting such as hospital and/or nursing home alongside other health care professionals.

Requirements of the Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Homecare/Healthcare/Caregiving Experience
• Resume
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of Car Insurance
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Training Preferred but not Required
• Pass Background Check
• Vaccination Record if Available, Willingness to Receive Vaccinations
• Dementia Experience Preferred but not Required

Responsibilities of the Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift

• Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfers
• Provide assistance with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning
• Assist hospital staff with care and treatment of patients
• Document in the medical record
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
• Maintain clean working environment
• Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
