What You'll Do as a Private Duty Caregiver:
As a Private Duty Caregiver, you will provide personalized, compassionate care to improve the quality of life for your clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other essential tasks.
- Companionship: Engage clients with activities such as reading, games, and music.
- Meal Prep & Light Housekeeping: Ensure a clean and safe living environment for your clients.
- Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on track with their health routines.
- Transportation: Assist clients with errands and medical appointments.
- Specialized Care: Support clients with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or Parkinson’s care.
- Mobility Assistance: Provide mobility support using gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
What We're Looking For in a Private Duty Caregiver:
- Compassionate & Reliable: You must have a passion for helping others.
- Experience in Personal Care: Hands-on experience with seniors is required.
- Open Availability: Flexibility is important as we offer various shifts.
- Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle: You must have auto insurance.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Background Check: All candidates must pass a background screening.
- English Proficiency: You should be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
