Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. - Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility challenges by providing assistance with walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
- Monitoring Health Conditions: Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions.
- Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if transportation is required for the role).
