Right at Home is looking for dedicated individuals to fill the roles of Home Health Aides, Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). We are committed to providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort and overall well-being.

Job Overview

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our patients by assisting them in their daily activities and promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as managing catheters and other personal needs.
• Provide transportation for patients to appointments, grocery shopping, and community events.
• Offer medication reminders to ensure patients adhere to prescribed treatments.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Assist with personal care needs, including toileting and transfers, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support patients with using medical equipment and devices, such as hoyer lifts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong caregiving abilities with a focus on empathy and patience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Competency in handling medical equipment and assistive devices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of ONE YEAR experience in patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
• Ability to pass a background check and a 12-panel drug screening (please note that THC is not disqualifying).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and be capable of traveling up to 30 minutes for shifts.
