As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our patients by assisting them in their daily activities and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as managing catheters and other personal needs.
- Provide transportation for patients to appointments, grocery shopping, and community events.
- Offer medication reminders to ensure patients adhere to prescribed treatments.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist with personal care needs, including toileting and transfers, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support patients with using medical equipment and devices, such as hoyer lifts.
- Strong caregiving abilities with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Competency in handling medical equipment and assistive devices.
- Minimum of ONE YEAR experience in patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
- Ability to pass a background check and a 12-panel drug screening (please note that THC is not disqualifying).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and be capable of traveling up to 30 minutes for shifts.
