Position Summary : The Outreach and Office Manager is responsible for promoting the company’s services through strategic marketing efforts and outside sales, primarily targeting healthcare referral sources. This role will focus on developing a pipeline of profitable referral relationships to increase care hours and expand the company's market share within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with referral sources in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities :
Referral Relationship Development :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare organizations.
Conduct regular personal visits, phone calls, and presentations to promote the company’s services and secure new business.
Develop and nurture a referral pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth.
Sales and Marketing Strategy :
Implement creative and effective sales strategies that align with the company's market share goals.
Investigate the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate services and gain new business.
Communicate market trends and competitive insights to the internal team to adapt strategies effectively.
Promotional Activities :
Create, develop, and distribute marketing materials to support referral outreach efforts.
Represent the company at community events, networking functions, and healthcare-related professional organizations to enhance brand visibility.
Sales Planning and Organization :
Pre-plan weekly sales activities and maintain accurate records of interactions with referral sources using a CRM system.
Maintain up-to-date competitive files, service rates, and market data.
Participate in setting and achieving annual sales goals in collaboration with the leadership team.
Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on referral leads.
Keep the team informed about new opportunities and referral relationships.
Performance and Reporting :
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and referral targets.
Provide management with regular updates on sales performance and market opportunities.
Qualifications :
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or marketing within the healthcare industry, specifically working with referral sources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining referral relationships.
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry practices.
Proficient in using CRM software to track sales activities and referral relationships.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative strategies for business development.
Additional Requirements :
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some after-hours events and meetings, as needed.
Compensation Structure :
In addition to a competitive base salary, the Outreach Manager will receive a per-referral commission . For every new client or referral source successfully secured, the Outreach Manager will be compensated with a flat-rate commission. This commission structure is designed to reward proactive outreach efforts, incentivizing the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of the company’s referral network.
