Job Summary :
The Home Care Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and community partners to drive growth and awareness of the agencies home care services. This role involves marketing, client consultations, and business development to ensure the agency reaches individuals in need of quality home care services.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development & Marketing
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote home care services.
Build relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and senior communities to generate referrals.
Organize and participate in community outreach events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
Track and analyze marketing efforts to improve outreach and engagement
2. Client Consultations & Intake
Meet with prospective clients and families to assess care needs and explain service offerings.
Conduct in-home assessments and create customized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
3. Relationship Management & Customer Service
Serve as a point of contact for clients, families, and referral sources to address questions and concerns.
Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and quality of care.
Work closely with the scheduling team to match clients with the best-suited caregivers.
4. Administrative & Reporting
Maintain accurate client records, referral sources, and marketing activities.
Prepare reports on marketing efforts, client acquisition, and business growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Experience in sales, marketing, healthcare, or customer service (home care or healthcare experience preferred).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and meet business growth goals.
Knowledge of home care services, insurance policies, and Medicaid / Medicare (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel to client meetings and events.
Work Environment & Schedule :
Combination of office work, community outreach, and in-home client visits.
May require some evening or weekend availability for events and consultations.
