MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST! MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND HAVE YOUR OWN CAR INSURANCE. YOU DO DRIVE AN INSURED COMPANY VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT CLIENTS. MUST ALSO HAVE YOUR OWN CAR INSURANCE. MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE.

Transportation Provider - Non Medical
Salary: $12.00 - $14.00/hr - PT hours available. Variable hours: Monday – Friday; possible nights and weekends
No CDL is required.

You will provide services, including but not limited to:
- You will use our vehicles to assist and transport clients, some requiring wheelchair assistance
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments safely and reliably
- Assisting with documentation of appointments and assisting with scheduling future appointments.
- Companionship and support while transporting
- Must be able to put the client at ease and be comfortable with strangers
- Possible personal care, such as toileting, bathing and care necessary within the scope of care within your abilities and the nurse practice act.
Qualifications and Skills for our Transportation Personal Care Assistant:
- Minimum High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate
- Must be able to pass a background, fingerprint, DMV check, and a drug screening (Marijuana use is not permissible in any state due to Federal regulations)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Must be able to move and push at least 200 pounds in a wheelchair without assistance.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, access to reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Current and valid CPR and First Aid
- Due to insurance regulations drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
- Computer knowledge and organizational skills are highly desirable in order to assist with office functions as needed.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
