Job Description:
We are seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical support and companionship to our clients in Ansley, Nebraska. This role is essential in assisting clients with their daily activities, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life through personalized care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote their mental and physical well-being
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
