Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Support:
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, adherence to company policies, and a team-first attitude.
- Coach and mentor caregivers, ensuring they provide care that reflects Right at Home’s high standards.
- Conduct in-home coaching sessions for caregivers to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Assist in caregiver training, support visits, and quality audits (by phone, email, or in person).
Direct Care & Emergency Coverage:
- Provide care to a wide range of clients, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
- Be available for on-call rotation during designated hours/weekends.
- Step in for emergency client needs, sudden care starts, or last-minute shift coverage.
Client & Caregiver Oversight:
- Conduct care starts with new clients, documenting details and addressing concerns with the Care Manager.
- Perform client and caregiver quality assessments and report findings.
- Travel within Johnson, Wyandotte, & Douglas County using the company vehicle (or your own, if applicable).
- Represent Right at Home professionally in all interactions.
Administrative & Additional Duties:
- Assist with office clerical tasks as needed.
- Maintain clear and professional communication in both verbal and written formats.
- Suggest improvements to services, training, and policies for continued company growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
CNA or SCW certification (preferred) with 3 years of experience in home care or facility settings.
Up-to-date certifications and training as required by Right at Home and the State of Kansas.
Expertise in safe transfer techniques (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, slide boards, sit-to-stands, etc.) and ability to train caregivers.
Smartphone for clocking in/out and client charting.
Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and a proactive attitude.
Ability to travel within the service area and maintain a professional appearance.
