Caregiver

Are you a compassionate individual who wants to bring seniors comfort and joy? Right At Home Santa Barbara is looking for kind-hearted people with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team of caregivers. If you don't have professional caregiving experience, that's okay! We welcome anyone with personal or less than one year of professional caregiving experience to apply.

Pay range: $19-$23/hr, plus a $2 weekend shift differential

Shifts: Up to 40 hours per week

What We're Looking For:

• Personal or professional caregiving experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
• Authorized to work in the US
• Willing to commute to Santa Barbara

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Engage with seniors in conversation, hobbies, and other social activities
• Assist with mobility and transfer needs
• Assist with nighttime routines such as preparing for bed, personal care, and providing occasional incontinence care
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
• Maintain a calm environment to make sure clients get the restful sleep they need
• Respond to any client needs or emergencies that may occur

All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not match you with a client who requires care beyond your comfort level and knowledge.
