Experienced Caregiver

Right At Home Santa Barbara is looking for experienced and highly skilled caregivers with excellent interpersonal skills and extensive knowledge of caregiving practices and procedures.

Our ideal candidate is someone who lives in Santa Barbara, has extensive experience working with seniors, is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care possible and understands the importance of building trust and rapport with our clients.

Pay Rate: $20-23/hour plus $1 weekend shift differential

Shifts: Per Diem work up to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional caregiver experience
• Must live in Santa Barbara
• Flexible availability
• Valid driver's license
• Auto Insurance
• Reliable Vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Engage with seniors in conversation, hobbies, and other social activities
• Assist with mobility and transfer needs
• Assist with nighttime routines such as preparing for bed, personal care, and providing occasional incontinence care
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
• Maintain a calm environment to make sure clients get the restful sleep they need
• Respond to any client needs or emergencies that may occur

All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not match you with a client who requires care beyond your comfort level and knowledge.
