Dementia Caregiver Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively and bring a positive attitude.
Assist clients with daily activities.
Provide transportation.
Medication reminders.
Prepare meals.
Provide companionship.
Perform light housekeeping.
Dementia Caregiver Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. independently.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance with you listed as an insured driver.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to obtain a valid TB test and CPR certification.
Experience working with dementia patients.
Dementia Caregiver Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of prior caregiver experience preferred
Dementia Training preferred.
Experience with One on One care desired.
Fluency/Familiarity in Polish, German, Russian, Czechoslovakian is nice to have.
Experience working in home care preferred.
