OPEN WEEKEND POSITIONS for PCAs in Wilmington, NC!
Right at Home Wilmington is actively hiring PCAs who have dementia care experience, who want to work weekend shifts with clients in the Wilmington, NC area. We're hiring for all weekend shifts.
Here's what you can expect:
You will provide companionship for your client, including engaging in conversation and any activity in which they demonstrate an interest in.
You should be able to prepare a healthy meal for your client.
Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed. This may include cleaning floor, cleaning bathroom and bedroom, kitchen, laundry and linens change.
Your client is currently requires a stand-pivot transfer. You will provide stand-by and/or light assistance while client is bathing, paying particular attention to fall prevention and safety intervention in the bathroom. Hands-on assistance with dressing. You will also encourage/prompt your client to perform routine grooming such as brushing teeth and hair.
A valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and current TB skin test are required for this position.
n test results before place with client*.
PCAs must be comfortable providing care, including:
incontinence care and cleaning of client
assisting with dressing and personal grooming activity such as, brushing teeth and hair, lotion, etc.
assisting with feeding
med reminders
Assistance with transfers
prepare meals
light housekeeping
