What You'll Do:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support and companionship to seniors in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and more.
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Patient-specific activities as trained by a nurse (e.g., assisting with ostomy appliances, range of motion exercises, taking vital signs).
What You'll Need:
- A genuine desire to help others and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (read, write, and speak English).
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and required insurance.
- Successful completion of a background check. (We maintain a drug-free environment.)
