- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks
- Assist with the use of devices for aid in daily living, such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Six months of experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Successfully completed a State-approved Nurse Aide or HHA/PCA course and passed a Competency Evaluation
