Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes or concerns.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Administer first aid as needed and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide patient monitoring effectively.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Certification in First Aid is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate demeanor.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
