Location: Sioux Falls, SD

JOB SUMMARY

The Professional Household Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the household's daily operations and ensuring the comfort of family members and guests.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• House Tidying: Regularly clean and organize living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and surface cleaning.
• Bed Making: Ensure all beds are made daily with fresh linens as needed.
• Dishwasher Management: Load and unload the dishwasher, ensuring kitchenware is clean and stored properly.
• Errand Running: Complete errands such as picking up dry cleaning, mailing packages, and other tasks as requested.
• Grocery Shopping and Meal Preparation: Shop for groceries based on meal plans and household needs; assist in food preparation, cleaning and cutting fruit/vegetables and prepping meat upon request.
• Household Guest Preparation: Prepare guest rooms and common areas for visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Holiday and Party Preparation: Assist in planning and executing holiday events and parties, including decoration and food preparation.
• Pet Care: Feed, walk, and care for pets if required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in household management, housekeeping, or personal assistance is a plus.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable personal vehicle
• Background Check: ability to pass a criminal background check
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, flexibility to adapt to changing household needs.
