Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Part Time Substitute Learning Facilitator to join our team at Right At School. As a Substitute Educator, you will be responsible for delivering our dynamic daily curriculum, promoting academic and social character-building, and supporting homework completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize program materials, deliver engaging lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and observations
- Demonstrate positive guidance and effective classroom management, maintain excellent communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
- Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred two years of college (48 units) or an A.A. degree (or higher)
- Ability to lift 25lbs and meet state-specific requirements
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
