Human Resources Director
Dallas, TX (Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office)

Compensation: $120K–$140K base plus bonus

Our client, a growing global IT Consulting and Professional Services firm, is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Director to support approximately 100 employees and consultants. This individual will bring broad HR generalist experience with particular strength in employee relations, compliance, immigration case management, compensation analysis, and performance management. A strong understanding of consulting environments—especially those with billable hour models and bench pay structures—is essential.
This role will work as a partner to Executive Leadership to plan for anticipated growth and help scale the business. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and scrappy—capable of developing and refining HR processes that support a more mature and scalable organizational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to leadership and employees
- Lead employee relations and workplace coaching efforts
- Oversee compensation benchmarking and total rewards planning
- Manage and report on headcount and performance management metrics
- Track and report on key HR metrics and trends for executive leadership
- Lead full-cycle immigration case management
- Guide and execute the performance management process
- Ensure HR compliance with U.S. labor laws including California
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, policy updates, and employee lifecycle operations
- Coordinate with external vendors for payroll, benefits, and HR systems
- Negotiate and manage vendor and staffing contracts
- Provide input on facilities cost structure and assessments as part of broader operational strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business etc. (advanced degree a plus)
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 4 years in a leadership or HRBP role
- Prior experience in the IT consulting & professional services industry, within global organization with $150M annual revenue
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws including California
- Proven experience with immigration case management
- Deep understanding of compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategy
- Strong familiarity with billable hour and bench pay models in consulting
- Experience with vendor contract management and external HR system partnerships
- Strong analytical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency and the ability to produce leadership-ready reports
- Experience with facilities cost assessments is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with a proactve and collaborative mindset
