Our client is a respected, globally recognized investment firm with several Estate Planning positions available in office branch locations in Tampa, FL, Dallas, TX, and Camas, WA. These positions work directly with clients to evaluate their assets and educate them about estate planning concepts and options, providing insights and identifying any gaps or risks that would prevent them from achieving their estate goals. Specialists do not provide legal advice, but work closely with other firm professionals to ensure clients’ best interests.
Responsibilities of the Estate Planning Specialist:
• Work directly with our high-net-worth clients to gather estate and trust documentation and other relevant estate-planning information
• Communicate with our Financial Planning team, Investment Counselors and Tax Managers
• Review a variety of documents (Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Buy/Sell Agreements, etc.) to identify and communicate opportunities that would better help clients achieve their goals. Note: Specialists do not provide legal advice, but work closely with other internal groups.
• Use your expertise in, and share your knowledge of estate planning for clients and internal partners
• Manage daily calls with clients and internal partners
• Work closely with other firm professionals to ensure clients’ best interests.
Qualifications of the Estate Planning Specialist:
• 5 years of experience working in the trust/estate planning field. Previous positions may include: paralegal, legal assistant, financial planner, estate planner, trust specialist, attorney etc.)
• Experience working on complex estates with a strong understanding of trusts
• Experience handling sensitive materials and information
• Client-first mentality with experience building credibility with high net worth clients.
Compensation $100-130k base depending on experience, plus area bonus and generous benefits program,
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
