Content Editor / Creative Writer
We’re looking for a creative and versatile Content Editor / Creative Writer to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director to craft clever, compelling, and on-brand copy that brings big ideas to life across campaigns. Whether it’s a headline that stops someone mid-scroll, a script that sells with wit, or a tagline that sticks for days—you know how to make words work hard.
You’ll shape the voice of our clients across platforms by editing blog posts and web content, developing campaign messaging, writing social captions, and crafting brand storytelling. You’ll work cross-functionally with writers, designers, strategists, and account teams to ensure every piece of content is smart, strategic, and polished to perfection.
Note: This is not a managerial role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept, write, and edit clear, compelling headlines, taglines, ad copy, and short-form content for digital, print, video, and social media
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to shape campaign direction, voice, and tone
- Review and revise content for clarity, consistency, flow, and tone across formats—including websites, emails, blogs, social media, and campaigns
- Suggest or implement structural improvements, such as reordering content or refining headlines and transitions
- Work closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all client deliverables
- Adapt messaging to suit different platforms, audiences, and content types
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting fast-paced deadlines
- Stay current and curious about cultural trends, language evolution, and creative best practices to keep content fresh and relevant
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and support ideation and editing processes
Requirements:
- 4 years of professional writing or editing experience, ideally in a marketing, advertising, or agency setting
- A portfolio that showcases strong conceptual thinking and sharp, engaging writing across formats
- Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and style—with a strong eye for detail
- Proven ability to write and edit across voices, tones, and industries
- Experience giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with digital content best practices (SEO, UX writing, social copywriting, etc.)
- Tech savvy, expert-level use of AI writing and editing tools to enhance output, refine tone, and support creative development
- A love for storytelling, wordplay, and bringing brands to life through language
- Vertical knowledge of financial and life sciences industries is a plus, but not a requirement
