Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. The Solar Technician will work primarily on rooftops and in various commercial settings, ensuring that solar installations are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to solar installations, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand wiring configurations.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within safety standards.
- Document installation processes and maintenance activities accurately.
Skills
- Proficiency in building and installing solar energy systems.

- Experience as a commercial electrician is highly desirable.
