About the Role :

This position is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in criminal law, whether through defense or prosecution, who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll represent clients in state criminal matters, advocate for their rights, and contribute to the firm’s mission of providing exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities :

Represent clients in hearings and trials in state courts across Northern Virginia.

Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft motions and briefs.

Build strong relationships with clients and provide empathetic, effective legal counsel.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest level of client service and outcomes.

Qualifications :

Virginia Bar Admission : Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Criminal Law Experience : At least 3 years of experience in criminal law, whether as a defense attorney or prosecutor.

Strong communication and advocacy skills, with a proven ability to handle a fast-paced caseload.
