Technical Writer (Content Designer)

This person collaborates with cross-functional teams to contribute to the design of user-friendly experiences within our product, as well as creating supporting documentation in our knowledge base.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and SMEs to develop high-quality technical documentation.
• Follow audience-centered and iterative methods to understand user needs.
• Develops and supports content strategy for the product.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders throughout the software development life
• cycle to write and edit text for products.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to explore new approaches that will provide the best text support to users.
• Ensure all content aligns with our content design strategy and supports a strong user experience.
• Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and release notes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content decisions.
• Continuously improve content based on user feedback and data analytics.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or MS in Technical Communication, English, Human-Computer Interaction, or related
• discipline (or relevant experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in software technical writing.
• Experience working in a lean UX/Agile environment.
• Proven experience in content design and strategy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.
• The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is Necessary.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
