The Auto Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to identify issues and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, exhausts).
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and test drives to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems.
- Using specialized tools and equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle issues.
- Providing accurate cost estimates for repairs and communicating them to customers.
- Explaining repair procedures and findings to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Following industry safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
