They are looking for a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist who will oversee the daily operations within the Patient Accounts team, focusing on payment posting, self-pay billing cycles for both HB and PB, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Senior Claims Resolution Specialist’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and financial assistance policies.
- Develop and implement customer service procedures, ensuring prompt resolution of patient inquiries.
- Accurately post, reconcile, and resolve transaction discrepancies, including EFTs, lockbox payments, and credit card deposits.
- Analyze accounts receivable to track financial targets, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
Senior Claims Resolution Specialist’s Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital patient accounting or business office operations required.
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably EPIC.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis.
