Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning efficiently, while also managing a team of maintenance staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in industrial maintenance, and the ability to implement effective maintenance management strategies.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Manage the upkeep of facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues requiring attention or improvement.
- Fabricate and repair equipment as necessary using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facility needs are met in a timely manner.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance is essential.
- Strong supervisory skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to facility operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
