Azure Systems Administrator

We are excited to invite a talented System Administrator to join our dynamic team, focusing heavily on Microsoft Azure Administration. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert technical support and assistance to our customers leveraging Azure cloud services. Collaborating closely with our IT support, security, and operations teams, you will innovate and implement solutions tailored to our business needs.Key Responsibilities : Hybrid must be local to Richardson, Texas No C2C W2 only No Third Parties.Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Respond to inquiries and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Azure services, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.Azure Infrastructure Management : Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other critical infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Active Directory Management : Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user, group, and role configuration, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.Security Implementation : Enforce security best practices and compliance standards within Azure environments, managing network security groups, firewalls, encryption, and access controls.Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools to streamline deployment and management tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing : Maintain detailed documentation of Azure configurations, procedures, and best practices. Share expertise with team members through training sessions and workshops.Hybrid Environment Integration : Integrate on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD to support hybrid cloud environments.User Support : Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.Configuration Management : Troubleshoot and configure Azure app gateways, VPNs, and other related services to maintain seamless operations.Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Azure Expertise : Proven experience in administering Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Active Directory, and Security.Linux Proficiency : Strong background in managing various Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Debian).Scripting Skills : Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools for Azure management.Monitoring Tools : Familiarity with Azure monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, Security Center, and Azure Policy.Security Knowledge : Understanding of cloud security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.Configuration Management Experience : Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools is a plus.Operating Systems Knowledge : Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux / Unix), server hardware, and virtualization technologies.
