Job Coach-Part-time; independent contractor

Ideal position for someone that enjoys working with people with disabilities and wants flexibility in their work schedule. The Job Coach. You will provide support and mentoring as needed to meet work expectations on job sites. A successful candidate will like being on the go, meeting new people, and have reliable transportation and proof of current car insurance. Individual must have a positive attitude, be able to coach individuals in a variety of work environments. Previous experience in Vocational Rehabilitation or a Social Service field is preferred but not required. Microsoft Office abilities are required. A 4-year college degree is preferred in a Social Service or Healthcare field. This is a 1099 position. Contracted rate will be $25 per hour.

Coach must be willing to document interaction between the consumer and their community employer. Monitoring the consumer and their job performance. Once hired job coach will work with consumer on the job site until they are knowledgeable and comfortable in completing their assigned duties.

Additional Responsibilities:

*Supervise and train consumers as to specific job duties.

*Keep records, documentation and prepare appropriate records.

Additional Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: Valid driver's license with a clean record and dependable automobile required. Must pass a criminal background check and adult and child abuse registry check. Networking and business relationship building. Must be reliable and enjoy working with people with various disabilities. must have written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge in using Microsoft Office. Strong presentation skills, providing feedback and assessing skill performance. Enjoy coaching. Must be tolerant and have patience.
