We are looking for dedicated a Material Handler to join our team in Little Rock Arkansas 72206 with $16.00/hr pay for a 3-months contract - temp role. In this role, you will to load, unload, and move materials; operate material handling equipment. Looking for a dedicated worker with good attendance record and successful experience working in physically demanding job with knowledge of operating forklift, pallet jacks, cherry picker and other material handling aid. – APPLY NOW!
Normal Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7AM - 4PM (after hours and weekends expected to be worked during storm response)
Dress code:
- Pants (no shorts), shirt conducive to environment, Steel Toe shoes, gloves, and safety vest
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
- Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Required Skills:
- Physical ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Proficient in operating warehouse tools and equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks etc.
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
- Basic math skills for accurate order counting and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Can work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week with extended hours and weekend during busy days.
