What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler (Iowa) - 7:00AM- 3:30PM position at RightStone?
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler in Des Moines, Iowa 50313 with $18/hr pay for a 5-month contract duration, potential to be permanent. In this role, you will accurately pick and pull electrical equipment to get ready to ship out. Must be able to work independently to load, unload, and move materials, can operate material handling equipment and had his own Steel toes – APPLY NOW!
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00AM- 3:30PM

Overview:
Pick and pull electrical equipment to get ready to ship out.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Works independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
- Fills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Packs and ships customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Required Skills:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
- Able to accurately use basic math skills.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old
