We’re hiring a Sanitation Technician in Meridian, ID 83642 for a 4-month temp contract at $18/hr. In this role, you’ll help keep the repack line stocked, operate sanitation equipment like floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, and maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety. Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm MST
Duration: 4-month contract
Roles and Requirements:
- Available to work Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM (MST)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, pushing, pulling, etc.)
- Comfortable with repetitive movements and active warehouse work
- Basic reading skills for labels and safety information
- Self-motivated, alert, and dependable in fast-paced settings
- Willing to learn proper sanitation and equipment use
- Good manual dexterity and coordination
- Can work in a noisy warehouse environment
- Experience in warehouse or sanitation roles is a plus
- Equipment experience (floor scrubbers, forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols is a bonus
Essential Functions:
- Keep the repack box line continuously stocked to support production operations.
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of warehouse areas, equipment, and workstations.
- Safely operate sanitation equipment such as floor scrubbers, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Properly dispose of waste and maintain trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
- Follow safety procedures and sanitation protocols in line with company standards.
- Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to management.
- Support other departments as needed with general sanitation tasks.
