What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at RightStone?
We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Associate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815 with $17/hr pay for a 3-month contract duration. In this role, you will play a vital part in pulling and staging material using a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels. This position requires physical agility as you will frequently kneel, squat, reach, bend forward, and handle items ranging from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs. Shift Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm
Roles and Requirements:
- Must have the ability to lift packages that could sometimes weigh up to 50 pounds, with help if needed.
- Experience required but we will train also.
- Steel toe shoes required
Essential Functions:
- Pull and stage material using a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, allowing us to keep track of inventory.
- Load and unload customer trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart.
- Help with maintaining a clean warehouse
