Job Description

The QA Test Lead will manage processes and personnel to conduct quality assurance of the Pension Administration system which includes 32 separates functional work streams with complex and diverse use cases and scenarios.

The QA Test Lead will need to support the testing of all the data bridging scenarios that will be adopted during the transition from legacy system to new pension administration system.

The QA Test Lead will also need to support the testing on legacy system as functionality is being retired and decommissioned.

Duties will also include reviewing BRDs functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of the business and the system.

The QA Test Lead will devise test objectives test strategies test plans lead and guide and monitor the analysis design implementation and execution of the test cases test procedures and test suites.

The Test Lead will determine if Automation Performance Load API cross browser testing etc. is required and manage the effort. In collaboration with other stake holders will estimate testing time control and report on the test progress.

Mandatory Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 4 years of recent experience as a QA Test Lead

Minimum 6 years of handson QA experience on different platforms such as API Web and Mobile applications.

Minimum of 4 Years of experience in leading multiple projects or multiple applications

Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams in a dynamic fast environment reporting status to higher management creating defect reports with resolutions and test metrics.

Strong knowledge on QA process and procedures

Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines

Experience in STLC and Defect Life Cycle. Candidate will be required to prepare effort estimation and lead all aspects of testing.

The candidate must have a certain level of business acumen coupled with technical knowledge.

Experience working with Test automation tools (Knowledge of Selenium with Java as scripting language is a plus).

Experience with Salesforce Box Copado or similar technologies

Experience conducting Load and Performance Testing

Experience with API and Web Services testing

Proven ability to simulate and execute integrated and isolated tests to analyze results leveraging CRUD operations on large volumes of raw data using SQL.

Proficiency in analyzing business and functional documents identifying and defining project scope understand technical specifications and setup test environment set clear goals and expectations manage multiple priorities prioritize activities facilitate the collection of technical operational or business requirements set milestones and follow through to successful completion.

Experience working in various SDLC processes including Agile.

Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation problem resolution and customer service

Expertise with MSOffice specifically Microsoft Word Project Excel Visio & PowerPoint.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Experience testing complex enterprise applications involving Legacy systems

Experience in legacy system migration projects

Experience with API and Web Services testing

Experience in Performance and Load Testing

Experience with Workflow systems preferably with IBM FileNet

Experience in Public Pension Systems.

Experience with test automation scripting languages

Experience with JIRA SharePoint

Certification as Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or Certified associate in software quality (CASQ) or ISTQB certified as CTFL (Foundation Level) or CTAL (Advanced Level) or CTEL (Expert Level).
