Job Description:
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact, providing leadership, guidance, and support for all IT systems and projects.
- Ensure a dedicated physical presence (remote work is not permitted).
- Assess and support IT operations, including application and desktop support, networking, infrastructure, and technology contract reviews.
- Advise on potential procurements and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and stakeholders to align IT strategies with institutional goals.
- Provide regular status updates to Executive Leadership regarding progress, challenges, and key findings.
Mandatory Skills:
Candidate must two years have experience working in networking, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Candidate must have two years experience in other technologies to trouble shoot Linux/Unix, Windows server, cloud or other virtualization technology, PBX/VOIP and backup technologies.
The contractor is required to provide one fully dedicated senior level manager of information technology to serve as the Manager of IT at Client and to oversee all operations of the Information Technology Specialists at Helen Hayes Hospital. This senior level manager must have at least 10 years experience to include the below:
Assessing and supporting maintenance of operations in the areas of application and desktop support, networking and infrastructure support; and Working on information technology systems and projects involving networking, switches, routers and firewalls, and trouble-shooting Linux/Unix, Windows server, cloud or other virtualization technologies, PBX/VOIP and backup technologies.
The contractor is required to provide one fully dedicated Information Technology Specialist with at least five-years experience managing computer programs and systems dealing with the most sensitive Hospital information including medical records and other patient information. This five- years of experience must include the capacity to fully support the Manager of IT position in all duties for the Manager of IT position described above.
