Tax Senior
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tax compliance, associate development, management of client relationships, and some direct client contact. The Tax Senior will participate in training and developing staff and building a team-centered client service team.
Tax Senior Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare responses to tax authority notices and inquiries
- Gather all relevant tax and financial information during the year for quarterly estimates, extensions, and tax returns
- Monitor and make recommendations regarding tax planning
- Recommend structures for business liability and tax planning purposes
- Prepare provision work papers
- Roll forward of many different tax schedules from year to year
- Some transfer pricing tax preparation
- Review returns prepared by junior accountants for accuracy and completion
- Assist with federal and state tax audits
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
- Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
