Job Overview:
We’re seeking a User Experience Supervisor who will lead and support a talented User Experience team in a fast-paced, Agile environment. This role focuses on mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team is empowered to contribute effectively to product development. Ideal for a seasoned UX individual contributor ready to step into a supervisory position, this role emphasizes team growth, advocacy, team meetings coordination plus continuing to focus on design work!

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week in our Nashua, NH headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Team Mentorship & Empowerment:
Coach and mentor UX team members to adopt a proactive mindset, building their confidence as contributors within Agile product teams.
Foster a culture of advocacy, encouraging active participation in sprint planning, product meetings, and cross-functional Crit Sessions.
Enhance the team’s understandings on product strategy and business impact, elevating their role from support to strategic partnership.
Team Coordination:
Facilitate team interactions, ensuring smooth collaboration with Product and Development teams in an Agile environment.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and performance check-ins to support team productivity.
Leadership & Impact:
Lead a collaborative UX team where your guidance drives collective impact on product outcomes.
Act as a bridge between individual contributors and leadership, amplifying the team’s voice in cross-functional discussions.
Requirements:
7 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant design degree, graphic design, UX design, or industrial design and a strong portfolio and professional experience.
Proven experience as a UX individual contributor with a strong understanding of user-centered design and Agile workflows.
Emerging leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster team advocacy and collaboration.
Ability to manage administrative responsibilities while maintaining a focus on team empowerment.
Familiarity with product strategy and its intersection with UX (training provided as needed).

This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States. Rightworks LLC is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
